Publication Process

The publication process in Orthotomeo: Journal of Scientific Research involves three main parties: authors, editors, and reviewers. Each step follows the workflow arrows in the diagram, beginning with manuscript submission and ending with final publication. The details are as follows:
1. Role of Authors
-
Initial Submission
Authors begin by uploading the manuscript and supporting documents to the journal’s online submission system. This is the entry point of the article into the editorial workflow. -
Manuscript Revision
If the reviewer or editor identifies weaknesses, the author will receive a notification containing revision notes. The author must then revise the manuscript accordingly and re-upload the revised version to the system. -
Resubmission
The revised manuscript is resubmitted to be re-evaluated by reviewers until it meets the required quality standards.
2. Role of Editors
-
Manuscript Reception
Once submitted, the manuscript enters the unassigned menu. The editor checks the completeness of the submission and assigns it to the appropriate section editor. -
Reviewer Assignment
The editor selects a qualified reviewer relevant to the topic and forwards the manuscript for review. -
Communicating Review Results
-
If the reviewer provides revision notes, the editor sends a notification containing feedback to the author.
-
After the revision is completed and resubmitted, the editor processes the manuscript further.
-
-
Final Editing Stage
Once accepted, the manuscript proceeds to the technical editing stage, which includes:-
